What's on in June?

Summer is nearly here and in Hayle there are lots of events to look forward to!

June sees the re-opening of Hayle outdoor pool on 24th - the pool will open daily from 11am until 6pm until 10th September. Prices have remained the same for 5 years which makes for an affordable and enjoyable day out for all of the family.

The pool is located next to the beautiful King George's Memorial Walk. The walk is ideal for a leisurely stroll alongside the Copperhouse tidal pool. The walk has a free car park, bus stops and train station are also nearby. The level tarmac road and pathway offer easy access to an array of colourful plants and flowers all year round. Hidden away behind the pathway are ponds, mazes and a Bug Garden a local School have created for everyone to explore. The tidal pool is also the perfect home for wildlife.

From the end of May to mid September the pool and walk are easily accessed using the Atlantic Coasters bus service which stops outside Atlantic Coast Holiday Park. Planning the ideal day out for all the family could not be easier! Foundry Square in Hayle has a traditional toy shop - Blewetts, an Alladin's cave for the children to choose their beach toys. There are some highly recommended places for lunch or an afternoon cream tea. Not forgetting the famous hand made pasties of Hayle - Philps! Just a short walk away is the access to the Hayle beach - three miles of Golden Sands.........
