Things to do whilst staying at Atlantic Coast

At Atlantic Coast we have a wide selection of Tourist Information in Reception and in our Games room. With many attractions offering discounts, there won't be a shortage of places to visit whatever the weather.

Angus from The Hoxton Special Kite Surfing School based in Gwithian, Hayle and Long Rock, Penzance called in to see us with new flyers about his popular Kite Surfing School. Angus told us that the School had now been running for 2 years and is rapidly growing. The School offers Kite Surfing, Power Kiting and kite buggying for beginners. Taster sessions are also available. Just down the road from Atlantic Coast, Angus says "Kite surfing is seriously good fun".

Paradise Park is an awarding winning wildlife sanctuary with JungleBarn play centre. Just 2.5 miles away from Atlantic Coast Holiday Park, there is plenty to do and see with over 650 Birds and Animals. Lots of activities and daily events run throughout the year including Otter and Penguin feeds daily and Flying Bird shows from Easter to September.

Dolly P of St Ives offers trips to Seal Island. Spectacular views of Godrevy Lighthouse and the beautiful scenery of St Ives Bay. An opportunity to try out Mackerel fishing or for the more adventurous, they also offer a 4 hour wreck fishing trip. For those wildlife lovers, Dolphins and seals are regularly seen in St Ives Bay and Bird watching trips prove popular.

Tate St Ives has been closed for refurbishment for a while and re-opens on 31st March. This iconic gallery overlooks Porthmeor Beach (The Surfing Beach) and houses international modern and contemporary art. A range of activities and events take place throughout the season with educational and fun things for all of the family to do. The Barbara Hepworth Museum is also a 'must see' in St Ives and is not far from the Tate.
